Web design for Melbourne businesses

Four seasons in a day. One website that works in all of them.

Melbourne has a business on every corner and a web agency for every one of them. I keep it simple: I build your new site first from your own job photos, Google reviews and logo, send a private preview link within 24 to 48 hours, and you pay $499 only if you love it. Tradies, cafes and small businesses from the inner north to the Peninsula.

who it's for

What a good Melbourne business website needs

  • Melbourne builders and renovators
  • Electricians, plumbers and gasfitters
  • Heating, cooling and insulation businesses
  • Cafes, restaurants and coffee roasters
  • Landscapers and garden maintenance
  • Hair, beauty and barber studios
  • Accountants and bookkeepers
1

Where you work, by area

Inner north, eastern suburbs, the west, the bayside suburbs, the Peninsula, the outer growth areas. Say which ones you cover so people know you'll come and Google can show you nearby.

2

Registration shown properly

Building and plumbing practitioners in Victoria are registered and licensed through the Building and Plumbing Commission, which took over from the VBA in July 2025. Showing your registration builds trust fast.

3

Seasonal services up front

Heating checks before winter, cooling before summer, gutter and roof work before the wet. Your site can push the right service at the right time of year.

4

Real photos of real Melbourne jobs

Your own work on weatherboards, brick veneers and townhouses beats stock photos of someone else's city every time.

5

Reviews before the sales pitch

Melburnians do their homework. Your best Google reviews on your own site, word for word, do more than any slogan.

6

An easy next step

Tap to call, tap to text, or a short quote form with photos. Whatever suits how you run your day.

Free tools I can build for your Melbourne customers

Every site I build gives your customers something useful for free, so they stay, trust you and call.

Seasonal home checklist

A simple autumn-to-winter and spring-to-summer checklist for homeowners, like servicing the heater, clearing gutters and checking seals, with your number on every item.

Service area checker

Customers pick their suburb and see whether you cover it, using your own list of areas across greater Melbourne.

"Before you hire" guide

How to check a practitioner on the Building and Plumbing Commission's register, why a written contract matters and what to ask about insurance. Honest advice that makes a properly registered business look very good.

sound familiar?

Common Melbourne business website mistakes (I fix these)

  • Still linking to the old VBA register after the 2025 change.
  • No mention of which side of town you work.
  • A cafe menu as a PDF nobody can read on a phone.
  • Stock photos that look nothing like Melbourne.
  • A site nobody has touched since it was built.

questions

Questions people ask

How much does a website cost for a Melbourne business?

$499 once, including GST, and only if you love the preview. Add $99 to have it loaded onto your own hosting, or go "Done for you" at $39 a month for hosting, management, a monthly refresh and SEO. Setup is free and there's no lock-in.

How long does it take?

You'll get a private preview link within 24 to 48 hours. Try it on your phone, ask for changes, and we go live once you're happy.

You're on the Gold Coast. How does that work for a Melbourne business?

Everything is done by phone, text and email, and I build from your existing photos, Google reviews and social pages, so we never need to meet. You check the preview on your phone and tell me what to change. Melbourne is an hour ahead of Queensland during daylight saving, so I keep that in mind when we arrange calls.

Do I need a domain or hosting?

You buy your own web address in your own name, for example at VentraIP, so you always own it. I do the technical setup, which takes about 30 minutes of your time. Hosting is included on the "Done for you" plan.

Will my website show up on Google in Melbourne?

I build every site so Google can read it: fast, proper titles, your business details marked up and the Melbourne suburbs you serve listed. That helps you get found locally, along with your Google Business Profile and reviews. Melbourne is competitive and nobody can honestly guarantee the top spot.

Can the site push different services at different times of year?

Yes. On the "Done for you" plan you just email me and I swap the featured service or special, so heating sits up top in May and cooling in November.

See yours before you spend a cent
