Web design for Canberra businesses

A city of researchers. Give them something worth reading.

Canberrans tend to do their homework before they pick up the phone, so your website has to answer their questions properly. I build your new site first from your own photos, Google reviews and logo, send a private preview within 24 to 48 hours, and you only pay $499 if you love it. Tradies and small businesses from Gungahlin to Tuggeranong and over the border into Queanbeyan.

who it's for

What a good Canberra business website needs

  • Canberra builders and renovators
  • Electricians and plumbers
  • Heating, insulation and energy-efficiency businesses
  • Landscapers and gardeners
  • Cleaners and home services
  • Cafes and restaurants
  • Accountants, bookkeepers and consultants
1

Your districts, clearly listed

Gungahlin, Belconnen, the inner north and south, Woden, Weston Creek, Molonglo, Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan. Say which ones you cover so people know you'll come.

2

Licence details shown properly

Building and trade licences in the ACT are handled by Access Canberra, and careful customers check them. Show your licence number where it's easy to find.

3

Detail for people who read

Canberra customers like to understand what they're paying for. Clear explanations of how you work, what's included and how long it takes win the job.

4

Winter services front and centre

Heating, insulation, draught-proofing and double glazing matter here. Your site can lead with them as the cold sets in.

5

Real photos and real reviews

Your own work and your own Google reviews, word for word. Stock photos fool nobody in a city this careful.

6

An easy way to get in touch

Tap to call, tap to text, or a short quote form with photos, so enquiries arrive with what you need.

sound familiar?

Common Canberra business website mistakes (I fix these)

  • Thin pages that don't answer the questions careful customers ask.
  • No licence details shown.
  • No districts listed, so people aren't sure you'll come out to them.
  • Winter services hidden on page three.
  • A site that's slow and fiddly on a phone.

questions

Questions people ask

How much does a website cost for a Canberra business?

$499 once, including GST, and only if you love the preview. Add $99 to have it loaded onto your own hosting, or go "Done for you" at $39 a month for hosting, management, a monthly refresh and SEO. Setup is free and there's no lock-in.

How long does it take?

You'll get a private preview link within 24 to 48 hours. Try it on your phone, ask for changes, and we go live once you're happy.

You're on the Gold Coast. How does that work for a Canberra business?

Everything is done by phone, text and email, and I build from your existing photos, Google reviews and social pages, so we never need to meet. You check the preview on your phone and tell me what to change. Canberra is an hour ahead of Queensland during daylight saving, so I keep that in mind when we arrange calls.

Do I need a domain or hosting?

You buy your own web address in your own name, for example at VentraIP, so you always own it. I do the technical setup, which takes about 30 minutes of your time. Hosting is included on the "Done for you" plan.

Will my website show up on Google in Canberra?

I build every site so Google can read it: fast, proper titles, your business details marked up and the Canberra suburbs you serve listed. That helps you get found locally, along with your Google Business Profile and reviews. Canberra is competitive and nobody can honestly guarantee the top spot.

Can the site include detailed explanations without being boring?

Yes. I write in plain English, break it into short sections and add simple guides or checklists, so careful readers get the detail and everyone else gets the call button.

See yours before you spend a cent
