    A friendly rule of thumb, not a sales pitch. The crew will take a look and tell you if a cheaper wash will do.

    Bird droppings and bat mess

    They're acidic and can etch clear coat in hot sun. Wipe them off gently with water and a soft cloth within a day or two.

    Salt air near the coast

    Salt spray settles on paint and underneath. Near the beach, a more regular rinse is a good habit, especially wheels and sills.

    Washing at home?

    Wash in the shade, top down, with two buckets and a soft mitt. Skip dish soap: it can strip wax. Dry with microfibre to avoid water spots.

    Do I need to book a wash?

    No. Express and Premium washes are walk-in, 7 days, 8am to 5:30pm. Full details take longer, so please book those ahead.

    How long will I be waiting?

    Most washes take 20 to 30 minutes. There's a café next door, so grab a coffee and your car will be ready when you are.

    Will a hand wash scratch my paint?

    We use microfibre mitts and pH-neutral soap, and no brushes touch your car. It's the gentlest way to wash, which is why owners of black cars love it.

    Can you get dog hair out?

    Yes. The full detail includes shampooed seats and carpets, and it's the one to pick for heavy pet hair or sand.

    Do you do big 4WDs and utes?

    Yes, hatchbacks right up to 4WDs and utes. Bigger vehicles are priced a bit higher because there's more to wash. The price picker above shows you the difference.

    What's the difference between Premium and a full detail?

    Premium is a thorough inside-and-out wash: hand wash, dry, windows, tyre shine, vacuum, dash wipe and door jambs. A full detail adds a clay bar, polish, shampooed seats and carpets, and a hand wax.

    Should I take my stuff out of the car first?

    It helps. Clearing out valuables, kids' seats and loose bits means we can vacuum every corner and you won't lose anything.

    How often should I wash my car?

    It depends on where it's parked and how it's driven. Near the coast or under trees, more often. Try the free "How often should I wash?" planner above.
