Nok cooks the dishes she grew up eating at her aunty's stall in Chiang Mai: pad kra pao with a crispy egg, Hat Yai fried chicken, curries pounded from scratch. Grab it on Uber Eats or DoorDash, or call and pick it up hot from the lane.

About the lane
Nok grew up in Chiang Mai, helping out at her aunty's night-market stall before she could see over the wok. She met Jarrah on a surf trip, moved to the Gold Coast, and in 2019 they opened Lemongrass Lane in a tiny shopfront a few streets back from the Burleigh beachfront.
The curry pastes are pounded in-house, the chicken is marinated overnight, and nothing sits under a heat lamp. Jarrah runs the front and the phones; Nok runs the wok and decides what "medium" means.
Sample reviews
"Asked for Lane-hot on the pad kra pao and Nok actually delivered. Crispy egg, proper holy basil, and I was sweating in the best way. Best Thai between here and Brisbane."
"We order the Hat Yai chicken on DoorDash every Friday. Still crunchy when it gets to Miami, which is some kind of wizardry."
"Fed 14 of us for a birthday. Jarrah helped me work out how much to get and there was just enough left for lunch the next day."
"The massaman is rich and the beef falls apart. The kids have it mild and we get ours with extra chilli on the side."
"Tiny place, gets busy on a Saturday so ring ahead. Jungle curry is the real deal and they did a tofu version for my partner without any fuss."

Please call us before ordering. Peanuts, shellfish, fish sauce, soy, gluten and egg are used in our kitchen every day and we share woks and benches, so we can't promise any dish is free of them. We'll talk you through what we can do.
