How this works: prices are this studio’s set prices by length (Short, Medium and Long). Very thick hair, colour corrections or going much lighter can change the price, which is why every colour starts with a free consult. Times are typical and include the blow-dry.

Every colour starts with a free consult, so you know the price before we begin. We’d rather talk you out of a colour that won’t suit you than have you walk out unhappy.

Before your colour appointment
- Book a skin patch test at least 48 hours before, if you’re new to us or it’s been a while (colour makers recommend this)
- Bring photos of colour you love, and colour you don’t
- Let us know about any recent box dye or henna
- Come with dry hair, no need to wash it that morning
- Wear a top you don’t mind a stray splash on
- Allow the full time from the price guide

How much will my colour cost?
Use the price guide above for your length. Colour and cut starts at $165 for short hair. Your exact price is confirmed at a free consult before we start, so there are no surprises.
Do I need a patch test?
If you’re new to us, or it’s been a while since your last colour, yes. Hair colour makers recommend a small skin test at least 48 hours before. It takes two minutes and you can pop in any time we’re open.
How long does balayage take?
Usually around 3 to 4 hours, including toner, treatment and a blow-dry. Long, thick hair can take a bit longer. Bring a book, we’ll bring the tea.
Can I see the same stylist every time?
Yes. That’s the whole point of a small studio. When you rebook, you’re booked with your stylist.
Do you cut men’s and kids’ hair?
We do. Women’s, men’s and kids’ cuts, each finished properly.
How far ahead should I book for my wedding?
As early as you can, ideally a few months out, so you can have a trial and fit in colour. Our wedding hair timeline above works out your dates.
Do you come to the wedding venue?
Yes, we offer on-location styling for the bridal party, as well as getting ready in the studio.
When are you open?
Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with late nights on Thursday.
