Is the price really fixed?
Yes. Once you've picked your finishes, the quote is the price, in writing. The only time it changes is if you ask for something extra, or we find something hidden like rotten floor under the tiles. If that happens, we show you and agree the cost before we go on.
How accurate is the estimator?
It's a ballpark based on our recent Geelong jobs, so it gets most people in the right range. Your real quote comes after we've measured up and seen things like access and plumbing.
How long will I be without a kitchen or bathroom?
Most bathrooms take about three weeks and most kitchens about four. A refresh is usually much quicker. Your start and finish dates are in the contract.
Do you do the waterproofing, plumbing and electrical?
Yes, we organise everything. Waterproofing is done before a single tile goes on, and licensed plumbers and electricians handle their parts of the job.
Can I supply my own tapware or appliances?
Usually, yes. Just tell us at the quote so we can plan around them and check they'll fit.
Do I have to move out?
Almost never. Most families stay put with a stand-in kitchen in the laundry or a plan for showers. Our checklist above helps.
Will you tidy up each day?
Yes. We sweep up at the end of every day and take all the rubbish away. You get the room back clean.
Do you work on the Surf Coast?
We do. We cover Geelong and the Surf Coast, including Belmont, Highton, Newtown, Grovedale, Lara and Torquay.
